There used to be a company out of China that was making Predator clones. I wonder if they are still around... Be a good source for parts.

I'm the furthest thing from a fanboy but to tell the truth I have not had any problems with my Predator that weren't self induced. My gasser flies incredibly well. Love it for doing auto's. Wish I had more time to fly...

Well, it has been about 6 years since my hawk pro took flight. I started thinking this week about getting it out of storage and getting her airworthy again...Then I see this! Looks like I should just start saving up to put my electronics and engine into a new model. On that note though, are there any good models to put an OS37 engine in? Seems that every body builds kits for .50 or larger these days.

I need to get a second job just to buy parts.

Yeh get a Gaui NX4 for that OS 37 or get a 50 engine and move up to a Audacity Pantera. It's a great plastic heli that is easier to maintenance then the hawk/Raven helis.

I gave my FAlcon/Raven/Hawk sport helis to a good bud years ago when Century USA started acting shady to its heli customers. He now has enough parts to keep these helis up for a while longer. I'm pretty sure parts are also availiable in CAnada also.

I switched to Audacity models in 2009 and have been totally happy with service and performance on the Pantera helis. Like Century in its heyday, parts are NEVER a problem. Pilots of the really old school Audacity Tiger heli can still get new parts off the shelf.

I now have the Hawk 50 and Falcon 50 back on my bench again as I promised to get them reliable/flying again. These Century heli never have failed in flight and I enjoyed them for many years as they flew as on rails in the air. They have some soft metal parts but I'm still fond of these helis.

I personally would own the N640 version helis if Century didn't scare me off about part support years ago. No hard feeling though I'm happy where I landed

That Gaui NX4 is a sweet looking bird. Looks like I need to get all new electronics though. The list I have in my head is mini servos(including throttle and tail), a FBL controller, a smaller sized receiver and possible a governor. Anything I might have forgotten? I guess I would need a new RunRyder name as well!

I need to get a second job just to buy parts.

heliworld vs centuryheli website

I see that the heliworld(dot)com website is not selling much in the way of Heli's. centuryheli(dot)com seems to be running still and the inventory does not say out of stock. Does anyone know if this is a functioning website, still selling kits and parts?

I need to get a second job just to buy parts.

So are the product listings accurate or should I not expect to be able to purchase what is listed on the centuryheli.com site?

If it's not at heli-world or any other distributor you won't get it.

E820, Raptor G4N, X50F/E, E620, Forza 450, and some planks.

only heli-world (primary distributor for Century Heli), esprit model, Rons and leisure tech have a few parts for Century helis... and none of them are refilling stock... no one else carries it.

Heli-world is no longer supporting any of the radikals, hawks, predators, condors etc.. what ever is left in stock is it, once its gone its gone forever.

esprit model is having a liquidation on century parts...

Rons Helicopters is closing shop and is also liquidating whatever century stuff he has left.

Leisure tech (Canada) has a few parts left but will no longer be able to restock either.

your best bet after these places is the classifieds...

Asked them on Facebook as they no longer support helicopters when they were changing their name to Drone World.

They responded with the following,

Hello. We have not abandoned the Helicopter word. We still offer lots of helicopter products. We are still here but it is true the demand on Helicopters have gone down and drones are more appealing which is not something we can change. Call us and let us know what you need and we will do our best to help. Have a great day
