Hey all,

I finally started the new xspec with the cspec motor...

Motor sounded great and i only have about 3 tanks on it so i only hovered...

I noticed up to 1/2 throttle the machine has a resonating vibration in the horizontal fin and the carbon tail rotor rod...
After 1/2 it transitions away.....

Any thoughts or concerns ??

Probably just still rich.

I flew 5 tanks out on my pumped spec until I started to lean it out.

I've got about ten tanks on it now and am still babying it.

hey all,

i now have about 1.5 gallons on the machine and it is getting smoother..

I must say the xspec flys really nice and smooth.. I am currently having a governor issue.....stuck at 1500 rpms.... but at that rpm the machine is great .... i just need to get the rpms to around 1800 and i will be in business

Larry just one thing to check comes to mind.
If you're using a GV-1 make sure your governor's ratio is 7.92 so that the headspeed is correct.

I decided to use the tj pro on this one... it looks like i may have a bum unit....

I contacted paul the manufacturer and he is sending a brand new one to me immediately without any hassle whatsoever... I am extremely pleased with his quick offer of a new unit .....

Hopefully the new one will solve the problem.

I have also decided to get a evo... since i have been reading it is so similar to the xspec that can be my trash and beat heli....and learn new things with .....
