Thanks Rich the pics did help but i wanted a up close real pic of the battery for the color the battery should be and the color of the inside sheet metal of the battery compartment. But for me today i had the day off cause the install we had schedule Cancel dew to rain. So i did alot more work today on the build. first thing i did was lay down the rivets that i wanted , and then afterwards i finished detailing the seats and cockpit before i painted the interior. The last thing i finished tonite was the IP! Now im just waiting for my Garmin 1000 panel trims to go around the mfd's. And maybe this weekend ill finish the rest of the details for the IP like the buttons, switches, and radio stacks.i just need to paint and IP all black with the front panel light grey.

Hi guys, new here, writing from Italy.

I have a 600ESP mechanics stretched to 700 and I was planning to buy the Marvel Craft 407.

Has anyone tried a similar fitting before? had particular problems/issues?

thanks to everyone in advance.

You shouldn't have any issues with fitting mechanics in the 407, myself and Edward were both using the same set up the 600esp,, just take your time wen doing it... Rich

I have a century predator in mine. Pretty much any 600/700 size mechanics can be made to fit.

Thank you guys.
I'm amazed about the level of expertise about scale here, a lot of masters!

How about the t-rex 700 tail boom lenght? straight fit or some cutting needed?

thanks again.

I was wondering if one of you guys scaled the tilt of the rotor which is 5 degress if I am not mistaken. And how did it worked out!?

To anwser ur questions? to paolo yes if u already have the tail boom set on ur mechanics yes the 700 tail will go in without cutting down. I've been able to put a 800 tailboom and torque tube without cutting and it set the tail rotor further back 50mm it just depends on where u want the tail rotor to comeout . And the other question i was able to get 2.5*degrees. The problem with that when setup the mechanics to sit with a 5* degree tilt is the boom will not go straight thru the fuselage boom unless it can bend the mechanics need to have the main shaft built with the tilt already in it.

i got the forward tilt in mine but I didn't utilize a full length tail boom because of it. with the predator, the tail drive end is of the universal ball/dogbone type which allows you to angle the tube coming out of the mechs unlike the "spline" type found with the trex type mechs.
the tilt works with no issues of course and like the fullsize machine, a slight nose high attitude in the hover and a level fuse in fwd flight

That's right Emile,

I think it looks so great when you get that behaviour! It's really noticeable when I see your birds on youtube's video!

Hey thanks Billy, yea the tilt is a must. I tried it first in my blackhawk and its turned out great. All my machines that call for a fwd tilt has it. Can't wait to do it with my S-76.

Hey guys, I'm still alive but wasn't sure for a while.
Went to family Doctor three weeks ago and got medicine. A week later was worse. Went to hospital got different meds. Week later worse still. On the verge of pneumonia so had to move into the back bedroom so Angie could try and sleep. But she spent her nights checking on me.

At least my yorkie Armani stuck by me and slept with me

Finally a lot of concern at work about my health. They sent me to the company health clinic.
Have to say that was the best treatment I have received.
Overnight I was a lot better.
Still coughing some and my lungs are trying to get rid of the muck but what a difference. Only bad thing is still using the other bedroom. Poor Angie is dragging from lack of sleep.

Soooo... No heli work done and it's backing up. But Emile will tell you I take on too much for someone who works 10-12 hour days when I'm not gone for two weeks at a time

But all arrangements are set for a trip to NY to bring our youngest and his family to their new home in Atlanta next week.
We will visit Rich and Paula and hopefully get to meet Charlie (Chopper37).
I should be able to get in the shop and back to work in a day or so.
