Cant wait! I have been in a bad divorce and custody battle for 4 years with me living in Indiana and my kids in Florida and i couldnt take them out of Florida. Each year I sit at the XFC and wish i could share the experience with my two boys. I honestly remember thinking about it the ride to and from muncie each year. Well this year its gonna happen. I was going to drive to drive to florida and pick them up for a few weeks but since i found out the dates of XFC last week i now am buying plane tickets and my boys and I will be there together Sunday. I really want to make this a trip they never forget because I know I wont.

If there is anything I can personally do to make your experience at XFC with your boys any better just let me know. I do the sound reinforcement, so you can find me in the white trailer out by the flight line.

Thanks Steve! We will have to come over and meet you Sunday. It is such a great event and I dont think my kids 8 and 5 quite understand this heli stuff I talk to them on the phone about. My heli obsession started after I was away from them so they have never got to experience any days at the field with me or anything like that. I hope this may spark some interest in them and provide them an outlet like it has me.

First Timer

I recently hooked back up with an old friend and he has been at this hobby for a few years. I have always wanted to fly helicopters but never took the plunge, until I saw, on YouTube, the crazy things they are doing with helis. I was floored at what I saw. I can't wait to see it in person, and meet some of the pilots.
Come on summer!

The XFC is on Site#4 this year. The other sites will be open for flying during the XFC if you wish to bring something to fly.

That's probably a very good move. Grass is much better for the accidents, parts don't scatter as much, better safety for spectators and pilots.

We're starting to get reservation requests for the XFC Saturday Night Night Fly. There are 8 spots open, so if you're interested, contact me and reserve a spot. There will be open flying after the NF competition, so bring your "lit" heli and join in the fun.

LCQ

One of the XFC heli competitors just withdrew due to scheduling conflicts, which opens up an additional LCQ slot for this years XFC. If you think you've got a shot at making the field, show up on Thursday of the XFC and try out!

Don't forget to bring your Night Flyer for Saturday Night. We want to try and see how many we can get into the air at one time!
