I want to thank all of the r/c community for all the support that has been show to Ron's family at a time like this.

I do agree with Mark Ryder this thread should be for condolences for Ron's family. Other threads should be started for other topics out of respect for Ron Kyle and family.

Thanks Again
Please keep Ron's family in your prayers

Read all safety guidelines
Observe all safety guidelines
Now insure nothing is broken on the heli
And the battery and servo’s function properly
Look at the area around you
Do your start up procedure

Keep a safe distance
You feel every thing is ok
Lift off
Enjoy

Put in your flight box and use it

Why do we fear change, one of the two certainty's in life

Most sincere condolences to the families and friends of Ron Kyle...from the RC community in Singapore....I've been talking to friends about the accident and it affected all of us badly...I've been flynig everyday but for the last couple of days...my flights were more conservative and further away from me....my heart goes out to the people involved. May GOD heal the souls of those involved and console them....I know Ron will be with us in spirit whenever we fly...wherever we fly...let us all be more careful with ourselves ..

Amen to the prayer in the previous post...

Nice Kino.

We have 2 bolts in our full scale Long EZs with a friends name writen on them. He forgot to tighten them and they came out, which caused the canard to come off and kill him. Always makes us think about him when we losten them. Keep our attention to getting them back in propperly too.

Add my heartfelt condolances to Ron's family. I didn't know the man but through his posts here, and those, coupled with all the snapshots of experience posted here, paint a picture of the archtypical "good guy". Truly a net loss on the ledger.

To Bill: do take the time to stand down a little, but never let this accident be an excuse to keep you from the hobby. I can't speak for Ron, but I think that he'd want you to keep learning.

I mourn the loss of Scott's innocence as well. He's too young to see just how tenuous a grip we all have on life, but this experience can also show him just how much a helpful, caring person can affect the world, even after death. Many people die each day; fewer are mourned, but the exceptional few cause the kind of gathering of spirit that I've seen here on this forum.

Accidents are always the hardest thing to explain to a kid who'se been raised in the structured environment of a typical family. They expect someone to give them a "cause" for the "effect" since that is what they've been learning all their young lives.

This is real sad. I went through ErgoDude's post and I discover that I have actually offered to send him a JR X388 manual. He wanted to download one but he couldn't find it online. I have an unused one at home and so I thought I might as well send it to him.

That's the last topic he posted. He never get to reply to me.

Showed some printouts , the net and the plague of Kyle to my wife and mother in law.

Couldn't help too see the tears in their eyes , not necessarily from the death , I gather , but from the 100's of condolences and views on this sitefrom all over the world

Although we , from South Africa , are far from u guys , the net has made it possible to be with you at your and our homes.

This whole week , due to this incident , I did not do any work on my helis as I cannot come to grips that a " toy " can and has killed someone.

My condolences to the family and prayers for Ron.
I lost my little brother suddenly, 35yrs old in April of this year and know how devastating it is to the family and friends. On top of that the funeral expenses are unbelievable $9000. I will be sending a controbution and hope anyone who see this will do the same. I guarantee they will appreciate it.

One more pilot is in heli heaven.
