I started out in helis, now I'm gonna try my hand at airplanes... But, I had to keep it in the family...got a Hirobo Extra 330L. Does this make a good trainer?

That makes the worst trainer. it is very unstable. You need to start with a trike setup and a trainer type dihedral in the wing. That is a very good 3d airplane. dont expect to learn with it

Looks like a great ARF nice quality. I would have to have a 4 cycle in it though for a scale sound and performance. A scale plane like that needs to be flown in scale like manner. I'm just he opposite. I started out in planks for 20 years and just found the thrill of heli's a year and a half ago.
Here is a picture of my Cap 231 with a YS 140 in it sitting next to my CS.

Dr. Dr. Dr.

Does your Freya 91 set up as you have it make a good trainer?

I was joking just a little(ok, a lot) when I asked if it was a good trainer... My friends think I'll be able to handle it, Mr. Jensen will be the first at the controls...

All I have to do is figure out how to land right??

it looks nice, but from the shot it looks like a 300s , I also have one using a ys91ac .. the hardest for me was trying to land the plane, it came in fast .. also had to break the habit of trying to land it like a heli ..

on another note does anyone know what happened to B&B specialties from canada? can't find them anywhere ..

hehe have fun
