I am looking for advise on my Raptor 60 conversion. I want to know if any one can recommend a motor mount and Pinion for a Scorpian 4025 400KV motor. I have not bought the motor or ESC but i will use a Castle 120 or 160 HV on 2 4000 MAH 6S 40C batteries. I am probably not going to use a clutch sinceit seems like a big deal to fit it to the motor.

I was successful in the conversion. I used a Hobbywings 120 HV esc two 3300 5 cells in series, Scorpion HK111 4035-500 and a Scorpion 6 MM 10T Pinion gear. The motor mount used was a Trex 700E mount. It literally bolts right in. I only had to put a small plate on both sides to mount 2 of the 4 holes. The whole conversion took one evening. The heli is in a Century 500E body and it is very smooth and tons of power. This setup with a 1400 RPM setup uses 400 MAH a minute so a 5-6 minute flight is possible and the batteries are light weight and cheap. I used 25C Genace 5 cell.

I see that you used Trex700 motor mount.
coincidentally, I have converted a raptor 50 and used a Trex600 motor mount which fit the side frames perfectly. I only had to drill the holes in the frames to bolt it down.
I did use the clutch in my conversion though.

I have a Raptor 60 gathering dust so I think I now know what to do with it
