Awesome! I will likely be there. This 2 funfly year is a great idea Bill! Hopefully my Goblin and Fusion will be able to make it through this time.

NOt sure if this will link you to the earlier thread for the May fun fly, but, it sounds like the event will be pretty much the same and the location will be exactly the same. It's in Othello Washington. I put some GPS coordinates in the earlier thread.

Ther is power but you might want to bring your own just in case.
If you get ther early you might get an open socket once they are filled then that will be it.

Hi Brandon, I am in Leavenworth Wa now so I won't be flying at the park this weekend, but the Othello schedule is Thursday 20th some show up through Sunday 23rd at noon everyone is packing up. There will be contests on Saturday 22nd. Will be great to have you there.

How bad is the "smoke" from the forest fires in Othello??
We're still planning to come on Thur. That's Dan, Brian, Dawson, Connie and Mike from the Cascade Model Heli Club.

Shoot the smoke can't be that bad. Here in central Oregon we have a fire that's been burning for a week now about 7 miles from the field I fly at. I got to the field this morning and we had maybe a 1/2 mile of visibility.

I dont know.Ther is none here in tri cities.

I live about 35 miles from Othello . The smoke from the fires you can hardly tell . Just in the evenings you can tell with the sun going down. slight haze in the sunset .

Ken from Lower Heli asked me to save some room for him. He said he wont be there until thursday afternoon or later. I wont be there until Thursday about 2:00P.M.

He asked for about 30 ft to set up for him and KDE so those of you comeing early please save 30 ft. for Ken by the two RV's that are always there on site.

Please watch out for the sprinkler heads when you pull in.
