Virginia Flyers (VAF) will hold its second Great Meadow RC helicopter fun-fly on September 29, 2012. This is going to be a great event and a great time! Great Meadow (near The Plains, Va)is the site of the Virginia Gold Cup. This site is wide open and huge -- enough for 10 flight lines (at least!)! Lots of fun, raffles and give-aways! Virginia Flyers 2012 RotorFest - Great Meadow, VA

All systems are a “GO!” for RotorFest 2012! This RC heli-only event will be held at Great Meadow, Va on September 29th, 2012.

We thank our sponsors for their support, especially since portions of the proceeds from this event will go to two great charities: “Virginia Airborne Search and Rescue” and “Teardrops to Rainbows – helping children with cancer.”

We've added the following day, Sunday, September 30th as a rain date!! Jon Walker -- field rep and demo pilot for KDS Helicopters will be flying the new KDS 700-class electric. Come out and see Jon's great 3D with this machine!

Being Thankful For What we Still Have

Hey Guys,

Thanks to everyone who came out. It was a great day, great venue, nice prizes and everyone really seemed to enjoy the event. Wow, we had some awesome flyers! In the end, we had 40 registered pilots and 100+ spectators. You guys really made it a special event.
