Im thinking about getting a outrage 90 and a few guys at my club have said there are a few problmes with them. Can anybody back this up and if so what are the problems.

if i remember correctly it is mostly tail gear issues but outrage is looking to release a new tail design soon and supposedly there are whispers of a new 90 as well (probably just upgraded tail design and main gear design)

I was stuck on another brand for 5 years, good heli, however my V90 has been a pleasure from day one, and it is extremely robust.

You'll get all the upgrade parts with your kit, no issues with the tail.

Bought the Flybar kit, took a while to setup the head to my liking.

Mine had to deal with 3D from the first day and it is still in an excellent condition.

Now it is a matter of fly, store, charge, fly and store. Love it.

BTW I've got a YS120 in mine and it deals with the brute power delivered by the YS.

Only complaint...make sure you download the latest manual when you build it, it is shipped with an out dated manual.

The support provided by the Outrage team is absolutely excellent.

I had 3 issues with mine.
1: Tail vibrations because of issues which they are working on fixing.
2: My main gear had teeth shredded off and I was informed it was because of flying the YS120 in it.
3: My clutch blew up and I was informed it was because of flying the YS120 in it.

I can assure you it wasn't from the 120

nope its probably due to to big of a gap between the clutch and the liner

Power is nothing without control

I have not experienced any of the above mentioned isues with my kit.

Have done 42 flights without issues with my V90 and YS120.

After 40 flights on my previous machine I used to be due for serious maintenance.

Links, bearings all still OK.

I've been hammering the crap out of mine - no issues with gear train - it's very smooth and vibration free. The tail is powerful and the head seems to be super rigid, perfect for flybarless.

Also, the service from Outrage and Prestige has been first rate. Quick, courteous and generous.

Like any helicopter, no matter the price, it isn't perfect. Overall, it is a winner in my book.
