| Zaaaguy72 Elite Veteran | I just tried some Bar Tenders Best Friend this morning to clean up my funtech pipe and it worked awesome with very little elbow grease, looks like new. Just a tip if you didn't know.Team HeliProz | ||

| bart2546 Veteran | Actully I have been looking around to find a good cleaner for just that. I have an OS Powerboost pipe that needs brown stains cleaned off. I got it used so I have no idea what it is, appears to be burn fuel but who knows. Thanks for the tip!Regards, Brandon; Team Synergy; Scorpion; & Bavarian Demon; AMA# L939231 | ||

| bkervaski Elite Veteran | If it's really bad you can cook it in anti freeze in a crock pot overnight (outside) and it will make it look new ... just don't use the crock pot to cook food in afterwards, lol (common sense prevails)I use Mothers (the polish, not my mom's crockpot, lol) for the bi-weekly brush upTeam Synergy / Castle Creations / Scorpion / Thunder Power | ||

| flyinfriend Senior Heliman | Dawn Power Dissolver works great (can be found in Walmart). No caustic chemicals, works through the use of enzymes. Spray it and wait 15 minutes and then wipe down. I use it on my gasser mufflers for burned on oil spots. | ||

| JPhillips Veteran | Harley has a product that works really well too; it's called Road Rub. It comes in a small, screw up can, just like deordorant. It's designed for removing melted boot marks off of chrome pipes, etc. on a motorcycle, but it works very well for this application as well. Cheap too at around $8.Team CYE - YS Engines - Perfect Regulators | ||

| YSRRider Elite Veteran | antifreeze in a crock pot is the hillbilly way.wet sand with 1000grit or higher and hand rub with mothers mag polish OR find someone with a vibratory polisher. Not sure if corn cob will take it off, I know porcelain balls is whats used to polish chrome ceramic for headers so that may work.sand blasting with wallnut shells, or plastic media should work also without peening the finish. | ||

| flyinfriend Senior Heliman | ^^^^ Yep, what he said. No boiling in a crockpot, no caustic chemicals. Dawn Power Dissolver is used on burned on pots and pans and works great on mufflers. You just spray it on for 15 minutes and wipe it down. In a worse case scenario you could do two applications. | ||
