SRCHA in Phoenix info?

Anybody have any contact info?
Is it electrics only or not? Went by their field and nobody was there. There was however a big sign saying electric helicopters only, but I saw a recent message on here saying they were both elec and nitro, so is the sign incorrect or have things changed recently?

Hi Runboy,

The field is electric and nitro. The city messed up the signs when they put them up a few years ago.

We are in the process of getting a new website up and running so in the meantime, ask away and I'll answer your questions.

Awesome! Thank you.

Do I have to be a member to start flying there and how do I become a member?

You have to have AMA to fly there or provide the city with proof of insurance of 2 million dollars coverage.

Membership is $50.....$25 initiation and $25 membership fee. PM me your email address and I can send you an application.
