I'm ready to maiden my new quad and was wondering what are my limits.

It has a WooKong-M, 500mW 900Mhz Rx(Mini 15-1200VR), AR7010 with DX7.

50yds? 100yds? Can I fly through the trees? Can I fly around the house?

Or do I just fly it til I crash and then I'll know my limits?

It sounds like I'm limited by the 2.4Ghz more than the 900Mhz- correct?

And, in practical terms, about a football field with no obstructions?

Check for range(search) in this Forum. I believe with FPV it was about a mile or more!

good name!!!! I fly fpv a lot. I dont seem to get the range people claim. I figure 1/4 mile on good day with omni directional ant. you will notice static when you get to the end limmit. just be carfull when static comes into picture. I had a 5.8 200 mw system. I could tell exactly the range. was like a imaginary bubble. I sugest flying in same spot as well so ,so you can get comfortable with safe distance you can go.

high mhz. clean signal. will not penatrate opsticals. trees , housed. ect

low mhz will penatrat more. you made good choice. in my opinion
