What are my options for changing the plug ends on my servos and gyro? They are getting beat up from needing pliars to pull them out of my JR receiver. Some of them are older FUT extensions and I had to trim off the pin and angle the corners. They are still too tight! I picked up some MAXX plug ends and they suck. They only worked on 1 extension which I assume was made by MAXX. I am not going to cut and recrimp all those wires. Do I have to order from FUT?

Yeah, I think it will be cheaper to just buy new ends from Futaba.

Generally pins and shells are not cross compatible. Some of the aftermarket shells are NOT FUEL PROOF.

Ordered an EMS crimper. ruined a couple plugs till I figured out how to use the tool thanks to another fine product made by a company that doesnt supply instructions.

Hardest part is stripping wires all the same length and inserting them the same distance into the metal plug so they are the same length after crimping.

All in all, the tool is a good product. Well worth every penny. (cheapest one out there)

You can get a stripper that strips multiple wires at the same time, thus making it easier to assure they are all the same length

yeah, but thats more money........... getting them inserted into the plug the same distance is tough. Even if they are stripped the same lenght, you cant see how far in you stick the wire with the plug in the crimper. you have to guess.
