I crash my 450 today. While doing the tail down tic-tocs, I suddenly have no control on the heli at all but just see eating the dirt.

Upon inspection, I find that the AR7200BX binding is gone. I try rebinding it, but it never works. I guess the root cause of the crash is the loss of rx binding in midair. This is very strange though. The AR7200BX will be back to HH tomorrow.

Has anyone experienced this similar problem before?

Just some advice, if you want to focus more on your flying and less on why your remote is having problems, get a Futaba! As long as its new or you trust where you got it from, then you will never have problems like that again. My experience and my friends with Spektrum and JR have been scary.

I guess I'm just lucky I have been flying with my JR 9303 for about three years and haven't had a problem yet!

I have been using Spektrum for a long time. No problems here.

lol yeah leave it. 9303 here for at least 7 years, 4 of it spektrum no problems. also have the 7200 bx on my 500 havent had any problems at all, except takes so long to start up you cant get into the esc setup without using another receiver first to set it up. have you tried to bind it to another rx? maybe the bec lost power? whats your setup.

Trex 700, Trex 600n

The CC ICE50 has power and the AR7200BX also has power. The indicator H just keeps flashing without going any further during the rebind. It is already on the way back to Horizon Hobby,

Phil had a similar issue on his 700E this past saturday. Knocking out ticktocks, then as he pulls full negative it went tail in.. Luckily, it didnt lose bind when it was comin at us, It could have been bad..

I'm a Futaba guy myself, but this was strange. upon inspection everything worked fine, but the sat bind would go in and out..

Sorry, not trying to hijack the thread, but.....

This is just a personal observation:

I fly both Futaba and Spectrum. I only fly my large heli's (G30 Gasser, 600Nitro and 450Pro) on the Futaba equipment and all of my smaller models on Spectrum. Yes, the smaller stuff is all bind and fly, but still Spectrum just the same.

I can not tell you how many times I have lost the bind on my Spectrum gear but I have never had one of my Futaba receivers loose the bind to the transmitter. Coincidence? Possibly, but how many examples of guys on RR attributing a crash to tx/rx problems using Spectrum equipment?

Did your Transmitter have plenty of battery life?
I had that happen once before hit low voltage on transmitter Heli fell from the sky like a bag of rocks

Any updates on this? I'm curious how HH dealt with the warranty and if they were able to determine a cause or reason for this to happen.
