Very nice Chris..This is the cheapest FBL unit I seen and lots of people useing it.Also haven't seen one issue reported yet..

Is it on sale or something or is that the regular price, cause I see that the price was $150 and its slashed down to $30?

Really nice flying, but I still would never skimp and install a $30 Chinese made FBL unit on my $2500 bird, just for my safety and safety for others, thanks for showing it though.

If it was proven and tested - time and time again? I'll buy 1 for $30 .... for some reason I fear this is not the case!

Thank you for the info, nice to have all trims at zero. I never assumed you are sponsored, I don't think a sponsored pilot will touch a 30 USD unit (and not to many good pilots).

And this is why is hard to have an honest assessment of cheap units vs expensive ones.

Beside the kick ass flight what can you say about the feel of the unit ? Where do you think it is lacking ?

I have a Tarot ZYX and in forward flight pitch pumps is doing like a dolphin. All the parameters are default, soft 3d. Too cold to play at the field with the laptop.

Based on this post, I logged into the eHirobo site and ordered the FBL controller, the USB adaptor & their 450 size FLB head - $95 shipped.

I'll put this on my Trex 450 Pro and see how it works.

There was a cheaper head - $29 - but I went deluxe.

Stefan, my impression is that they are pretty good. I have used it on a 450 a 600e and this ENV.

I like it as much as the beastx 3.0 it replaced on this model.

Awsome tail, stable cyclic, easy setup, works off the bench, just from what i have seen so far with just the program box to tune it.

This unit has about 150 flights on various models.

All the fbl unots are so good now, its hard to say one is better than the other, this unit is in the same group..... as is my feeling.

What's the difference between a $230 FBL unit and a $30 FBL unit? A little advertising and a printed manual. That's really about it. If you think one is made in a crappy factory and the other is made in a clean room by scientists wearing white coats, you're in for a surprise there too.

Chris, now is saw the youtube clips with HK450 and cheap (slow) orange servos, in a way is even more impressive.

Apart from unstable firmware, the little things that go into making the circuit board is very important, the pins for plugging connectors if they make crappy contact the unit will become unstable. I can not believe you guys really are thinking about this junk, have you ever tried those cheap Chinese after market parts and compared them to quality parts? They are horrible, even the little printed manual makes a difference. Have you ever seen what a defective FBL unit can do to a heli either? it can kill or injur. STOP BEING CHEAP IN THIS AREA, a $30 FBL unit is priced that way for a reason, it's assembled from, and made from inferior parts on the circuit board. Those people over in China don't give a Rats ass about about Westerners and very little about teir health as well.

No data, I rather be hating than ducking for cover the next time one cheap scates come to the field with one of those cheap setups. If I have run for cover again from one of you pilots at the field using cheap Chinese parts, I am going to cock my arm back and follow though with my fist!
