Mike,
Finally stopped snowing long enough for Frank and I to get some pics in today. Here are a couple.

Eric,
Nice pictures did you take them with the joker or the gasser? Wow the temperature down there looks cold. It was 48 deg. here today but very overcasted. I'm just glad there is no snow. I got some more pictures today but I don't like it when the sun is hidden. Also I set my camera for 5.1 meg pix today and with the overcast I need to adjust the shutter speed. Still trying to learn to run the camera. To many settings. Later,Mike Tell Frampton hello

How high?

Wow, Mike. The subdivision shot looks like it was taken from a full-scale. How high were you?

You're doing really well with the shots you've taken so far.

Mike

We used the Joker. I'm going to sell the gasser, the Joker just works so well that I'm thinking of getting the Remote-i setup for doing video work. I'll use the Maxi Joker for the video ship. Focusing on stills for now, as that's the quickest money. And yes, it has been very cold here...not doing much recreational flying. We're going to get some ski resort shots tomorrow if the weather cooperates.

You need to get Ford a price on a new Joker from Joe. I think Ford is going back to electric. Isn't that so Ford???????.................

Just a matter of time

Yup. I was so impressed with your Joker, Mike, that I'm definitely in the market. I've already contacted Joe with a couple of questions and it just comes down to $$$ at this point. I'm also waiting to hear from Riley to see how that will play out.

These are the new Flightpower Pro 5s4p 8000s from www.flightpower.co.uk

These have identical high-performance matched cells to the Thunder Power 5s4p but these are far and away more pretty as a piece of engineering with no nobbly heatshrink and no wires showing through the skin. They fit exactly in the Joker CX/Maxi Joker simply by replacing the nuts that stick into the battery compartment with supplied socket-cap countersink screws. The packs have their own integral reinforcement so they can stand being positionned forwards of the mainframes for CG without damage to the cells or needing additional support (and they feel like they can stand a hard landing without breaking up). We use and recommend gold-plated 70Amp 4mm "banana" connectors. Built in and shipped from the UK.

Enjoy!

Take the dot off the end of his link.

Try this

www.flightpower.co.uk

Looks like about $427.40 in US dollars.

Thanks, I just took the dot off the link. www.flightpower.co.uk

It's a lot cheaper to buy these Flightpower packs here in the UK/Europe than to import big LiPo packs from the US especially after tax and shipping. I guess you could be looking at the same kind of sums in reverse.

Cold and wind about 25-30mph

Had to do this shoot for a local realtor. Man was it cold and windy out.
Oh well everything turned out well. Some days you have to do what you have to do. This house and land they are selling for almost 2 mil. They want to make it into a private hunting lodge.
