For the same reason Mikado will never make a nitro heli, you will never see MSH make a nitro heli. MSH and Mikado make what they want to make.

Protos 700 prototype testing already started last year. The only thing Corrado is working on is tweaking parts here and there, but no major changes. You won't see any flight videos until sometime in the Spring. You will almost for sure see a demo at IRCHA.

MSH would bite into a big market if they give an option for a nitro.

They have great ideas. To this day their 450 is one of the best I have used and its definitely the most durable.

BTW, its would have been more difficult for Mikado to offer a nitro early due to their molded frames. MSH isnt bounded by that and they could easily make the modifications to the electric frame for a nitro engine.

Im sure MSH could find a way to bring the airframe weight to about 8.9 pounds full of fuel...that would be fun. And the 90 sized engines would probably give us the electric like power most now want

If they did, I would buy one!

Well you got me thinking...
...from what I read off another foreign site that saw the Protos 700 up close at the toy fair, they described the frame as having two sections, upper and lower. The upper is all carbon fiber and the lower is either all plastic or a mix of CF and plastic parts which has a pull out tray for the lipos ala Trex 700. It's a bit difficult to understand using Google translate.

Although I highly doubt it, maybe MSH designed it that way so that the lower section could receive a nitro conversion. Who knows what Corrado has in mind. I'm just disappointed that he has no plans for a 600 at the moment.

That video is running faster than normal speed. Check it out about 1:13 and see a bird fly by at about 110 mph That's not normal.

110 for a 700E is quite possible, last year at IRCHA a Compass 7HV that was set up for 3D flight took 6th out of 33 at the IRCHA speed cup with an average of 121 and a top speed of 123, so I wouldn't be surprised of an MS Heli 700 being capable of the same.

That bird was not going 110MPH The video is NOT sped up or the sounds would be off!! Small birds can look to be going that fast like a sparrow or something similar crossing in front of the camera.

Maybe videos need to be posted with music in the background playing, so this sped up bull sh!t talk can stop!!!
