i have a OS46 from a raptor. the crankshaft was cut to fit inside the raptor. My question is: Will this engine, with the cut crank, be useable in a sceadu???? I would hate to buy a new engine. My OS46 runs really good.

thanks,
eric

Cut crank?

I have an OS 46 SXH in my Raptor and didn't have to cut the crank... Why did you have to cut yours? Is it an airplane or heli engine?

Hmm....

Eric,
I had the Gr8lakes mount in my Rappy (answers your question RaptorDriver) and had to cut my OS50 also.
I was unable to put the 50 in the Sceadu without replacing the crank.
I bought a new crank from The evil empire (only people who had it) for about 45.00 or so.
IMO I would go with the 50 in the Sceadu. You will find it is much better running (even if you have a good 46) and will last you a long time both in durability and performance.
