I paid $38. Plus tax. In San Jose that's 9.75%. Thank you Jerry "MoonBeam" Brown.

Sorry this is a pitch gauge thread but...

I give up what nickname?

Jerry Brown has always been called "MoonBeam" since the 70's when he started all the crazy spending we have in the state. He's never saved a penny for the state or Oakland. He's never had a job in the private sector. He's a trust baby. He sought celebrity with Linda Ronstadt and Mother Theresa and leaves without any real long standing comittment. He's one of the most bloodsucking civil servants on the Calif retirement rolls. he was Govenor before, Attny General, Mayor Oakland and Govenor again. How many retirements is that and he hasn't saved us a penny. He thinks he's above Calif law by scoffing a CHP officer when pulled over on I-80 between Bay Area and Sacramento. All the crazy spending has been initiated by our legislative branch and approved by him and all Govenors. Who has controlled the legislation of taxes since 1970. Any Governor can prevent taxes. Our taxes just keep going up. He said he would save us money, but he's in with the Assembly and Senate. In the mean time I'm driving on pothole lined roads that haven't been smooth since Reagan and even "MoonBeam's" daddy was Govenor.

CA was a great state when I was a kid. I don't see what is great anymore especially when San Francisco thinks it's okay to let illegal aliens murder a whole family and use the guise of a "Sanctuary City" and eat dinner in the buff as long as you use a towel on the chair so your s@#t stain isn't left on the seat. Yes enlightened.

Your opinion is discredited when you demonstrate that you can't stand behind your facts. It's probably best that you move out of the state.

Brown proposed the establishment of a state space academy and the purchasing of a satellite that would be launched into orbit to provide emergency communications for the state—a proposal similar to one that was indeed eventually adopted. In 1979, an out-of-state columnist, Mike Royko, then at the Chicago Sun-Times, picked up on the nickname from Brown's girlfriend at the time, Linda Ronstadt, who was quoted in a 1978 Rolling Stone magazine interview humorously calling him "Moonbeam".
Wacky idea? Sounds like he was 20 years earlier than Homeland Defense

The real damage to California started with Reagan - '67 to 75. the time between the elder Brown (Jerry's father, Pat) and Jerry.

imrerun,

Don't unsubscribe. Wicked Clown asked me how much I paid and responded to his question especially since he is the OP.

I thanked my current govenor for letting me pay an extra 9.75% tax for buying a digital pitch gauge. That's all and apparently some are sensitive and attacked me. What I posted is in response to being called a liar or misinformed, but it's what has been in the local news over the years I've been a resident and not figments of my imagination. I'm not offended by their responses and will not say anymore to not hijack this thread. I like my RCLogger digital gauge.

Recently acquired an Align digital pitch gauge and have begun to use it. One thing has struck me as slightly strange though. The screen on this unit automatically flips over so you can mount it above or below the blade. I suggest anyone who owns one of these to try this out - zero the unit on your heli frame or whatever, instal it upright on a blade that has some pitch (i.e. anything other than zero degrees), then try it the other way around.
My screen flips over as it should, but +1.0 degrees (for example) suddenly becomes -1.0. It seems to me that inverting the unit confuses it a little as to what is positive and what is negative.
Is this the same for other users?

I have been using my RC-Logger pitch gauge to level most surfaces on my heli, main shaft bearing mounts, motor mount, main shaft, tail boom etc.
Works well and from being more precise any and all vibrations I did have are gone. I'd be lost without it now.
