I understand about doin it yourself... I custom paint motorcycles and have everything here including the airbrush... But when you can get a custom for $84 from canomod, its cheaper to let them do it than it is to do it myself.. The good automotive clear coat alone costs $85 a quart... now if I was to do 50 canopies with the same colors it might be worth it, but not one or two per season...

You could order a blank canopy from canomod, you just have to email them and ask for one.

The cost has nothing to do with it. And I agree, The price of good airbrush is more than cost of one if not a few pre-painted canopies.

But to say, I painted that..... (priceless).

Truth

Team Pilots will have kits sent out this week. Once we have put the seal of approval on the production kits, they will begin to ship to dealers.

We fully expect dealers to have kits by the end of this month.

Can u or other team pilots post any build tips once you have had the chance to build the kits. Thanks.

I will do videos if anything could be potentially confusing. I don't foresee that being an issue as the E version was pretty straight forward even without a manual.

lol Ray... I've already got some flight videos out there of my Whippy from last season. I'd happily do some build/setup videos if anyone needed them, but I cant imagine they will be necessary. It is an extremely simple heli that i've built and rebuilt numerous times without a manual existing yet.

I whooped my LHS so bad he was speechless right after he told me that there wont be any MA nitro whippie by the end of January......now I am looking at late February IF I am really lucky.

I have got all the parts for mine now, just waiting on the kit,
pre-ordered it back in Nov.... I am anxious for it to get here but I have plenty of other things to tear up
