| Justin Stuart rrMaster | Come on man. Think about it for a minute. Their machine shop has to make batches of parts. Lets say one run of tailcases is off spec. Then they have to run another batch. Now they are a week behind schedule. Little stuff like this adds up, and then the helicopter is a couple months late. Why is that so difficult to tolerate?I think MinAir should just say "Coming Soon" for future releases and then only announce when the kit has already shipped. That would avoid all of this nit-picking. Don't you guys have anything else to fly while you're waiting?Avant RC | ||

| unclejane Key Veteran | You guys are funny. Or have never worked for a company or corporation that sells products to the public.Hard ship dates, as a general rule, destroy companies. In fact, few things are worse mistakes than issuing hard ship dates on any product.Don't ask me why I know this. All I'll say is it's going to be along the lines of why Mike knows this.So the best rules of thumb are (to preserve your own sanity): a) do not plunk money down on a product that hasn't gone to market yet or b) only do so if it's not a bother for "tentative" ship dates to slip and/or emails not to be returned, etc.I usually do a) and simply wait for the product to come to market. My strategy for staying sane while waiting for unshipped products:- avoid pestering email accounts with "when's it going to ship? when's it going to ship?...". If they respond at all, it's going to be "real soon now" and that's all you'll get. - avoid pestering email accounts/online reps with "why hasn't it shipped yet? What's the problem?". No company that knows what it's doing will ever divulge this kind of information in the process of bringing a product to market. It just won't happen. If they do, it'll be a courtesy only and should be taken with a grain of salt. Consider yourself lucky in that case. Both of those strategies will keep you out of the rubber room and maintain the enjoyment of the hobby. My .02,LS | ||

| Mike Fortin Elite Veteran | Made in the USA As many know the Whiplash E was the first to be released, there has been an overwhelming response to the E model and so production has been running long on it in order to fill those orders. The nitro, again the number of orders has sky rocketed however there was some last minute changes to the clutch/fan which has pushed back the release. Nitro kits are on the kitting tables as I type this and are being boxed, those kits should hit store shelves by the end of the month. We will be pumping these kits out as quickly as possible.Unfortunately the gasser has been pushed back because of the what you see above. March is a likely release time for the gasser but at this moment we can't give a hard date. Please keep in mind that we are pushing everyday to get these models out, we want to sell models so if they are sitting in a warehouse it simply doesn't do us any good since we don't get paid until models are in stores. While we realize that some of you have been patiently waiting and our time line was a bit off you can most certainly expect a model that is bulletproof. We appreciate your patience and welcome your input.

| Helizrule Veteran | Yup, when it comes out is comes out. I am sure there are more important things in life to worry about than one helicopters release date. Just sayin | ||

| Mike Fortin Elite Veteran | Zane,Soon is the best I can do. I can't say 2 weeks, if it takes 15 days instead of 14 I may be crucified.Again, you should be seeing nitros in stores by the end of this month.

| unclejane Key Veteran | A Whippy nitro flybar is still on my radar for my next machine. I have a little bit of Align "lockin" because of my huge crash kit for my trex 700's, but I can't seem to get over the beauty of that nitro Whippy in Bobby W's videos... The nitro, again the number of orders has sky rocketed... | ||
