Could someone tell me if a 6S Fusion 50 running this setup would be ok for sport flying (loops, rolls, inverted circuits etc...)

yeah that will work just fine in fact outrage has a 550 conversion kit out soon with shortened boom to run 550s. check out helidirect

Just the motor to finish and I have the option of these two for my 6s setup to go with my Kontronik Jive 100LV, which one do you guys think would be the better choice ???

6s setup

I was also curious about running the Fusion on 6s. Someone at
the club I fly at has an Xcell Furion running on a single 6s Lipo and
it does surprisingly well (I always thought it was 10 or 12s as I
had not paid too close attention before).

At the moment I have the Outrage 550 and I like it alot so far. It weighs 3.3kg ready to fly and my setup is;
Castle Ice100
Hacker A40-10L 'electric turbine' 1100kv
Fusion mod.8 129 tooth main and 12 tooth pinion
Futaba 9252s on the swash and Savox 1290 on the tail with GY401
(flybarred head)
Duralight reg and 2s Outrage 2500mah RX pack (I could prob
save a couple hundred grams by going with a Bec instead)
I'm using TT 550mm blades at the moment and at 6 minutes
on the timer I am drawing roughly 65% so I can probably
squeeze out another 30 seconds or so, maybe 45.
(my flying is smooth 'big air' stuff)
I'm just using cheap Turnigy 30-40c 5000mah packs right
now as I wanted to keep the cost down till I knew if I'd
like it. So those packs are on the heavy side (830 grams) and probably
don't really have the punch they claim but they work fine
for the time being.
