The information shown on the MKS TW site contradicts that shown on the MKS USA site. Specifically is the type of motor and maximum operating voltage. Also MKS TW show this servo is for flybarred models and not FBL. On the USA site the usage is not show.

Can anyone throw any light on this please?

This shows usage for flybar models but then shows a video with it being used with a beast x!

These servos do have a coreless motor and are for use with flybar only. This is confirmed on the MKS USA site in the detailed images section. They do have a new DS92I, I believe, coming out for use in flb helis.I just installed 3 of these for cyclics in my heli, fantastic servos.

They will work on a FBL model, but IMO it's not ideal. The D95 is the one you want for FBL as it uses a higher quality coreless motor. I think in testing they noticed that some motors were failing with FBL use after 100-200 flights or so, give or take with the D92.

Don't get me wrong, it's a kick butt servo for the $ but for FBL there are different demands placed on it, so MKS is not recommending it for that application. I'd say most other micro servos out now will suffer similar issues with motor wear/failure too. FBL demands are more similar to tail gyro demands due to constant corretion/movement/centering.

MKS is testing now a new D92A+ which should be FBL rated and a more affordable alternative to the D95. Similar in plastic case to the D92, but able to be used in FBL applications
