Will you be able to change pinion sizes ?. Looks like the motor to main gear distance is fixed.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

There are three pinions options. The 14 tooth pinion is included in the kit. There will be a 13 and 15 tooth pinion available separtately as option parts.

Motor to main gear is fixed, but 3 different holes for the different pinions. The stock 14 tooth pinion, mount goes in center hole. This way there is no gear mesh to adjust, it is right on first time. It went together real easy.

Posting the manual this early online was a smart move. Much better way to get to see the machine than just looking at pictures.

I know this one has been in the works for quite sometime, glad to see it's out now and I'm sure it's done right.

am i seeing correctly that the oneway is on the motorshaft instead of in the main gear?

i've never seen this setup before. is this something new for MA/new in general? any benefit over putting the oneway in the main gear? seems a little more complicated to service unless someone has some other insight.

Looks like it to me. Guess the advantage is the lower torque level required by the one way, maybe longer life.

It puts less stress on it and if you have ever flown a big bird and not have a oneway fail you are in the minority. The power that these new motors have put alot of stress on everyting. they also did it this way so you would not have to worry about gear mesh. It is just brilliant. The less you have to worry about adjustment the better.

Yes, the one way is on the motor shaft, pinion goes into it.
Working great this way. Plus, new way to install main shaft, no collars, adjust lower bearing block (see Bobby's video) so NO play at all in main gear on shaft.

so is the pinion Proprietary, in that only MA made pinions will work?

That is correct. Kind of like a Nitro model, but in this case The pinion is an integral part of the one way assembly.
