I followed this procedure last evening on my new Freya. Works like a charm.
I ended up moving the ball links on the washout arms as well as the upper pitch link levers -- but I got something on the order of +/- 14 degrees, more than I needed. Dialed the rest in using the pitch and throttle curve settings on my JR 8103 TX.
