i just bought a used gph, and i have a question about the start shaft collar.when i spin it,it doesnt turn freely in any direction, anotherword ir spins the motor in both directions,is this normal??/isnt it supposed to have a one way bearing in the bell to let it freewheel in one direction and turn the engine in the other??/ just wondering .in my raptor it does work this way.

I don't know on the GPH, but on my sceadu there is no one way bearing on the start shaft. I had to buy a starter extension with a one way bearing. It might be the same

hope this helps

Mate In my GPH there is an One Way Bearing so the starter shaft has not to be a hex starter.

Try to clean it and if it still doesn't work, change it.

It might be only the one way beraing that has failed.
