My Posts This: Topic Forum | Now Now Augusto, don't come into this forum and start spouting off about all this Fury stuff.... Todd's comments all make a lot of sense, one thing that was not brought up is ease of maintenance and parts availability. I've built a few Freya's, and taken a long look at the Fury. It seems as though the freya is easier to assemble, and doing maintenance on them or repairing after a crash.... How fast can you take the main mast off your heli? About 30 seconds with the Freya.
I just got my sceadu, (thanks TB), and I don't have a manual for it, didn't really matter because the thing is a breeze to put together. It's bascially a Freya that got minimized. I bet they used some of the same templates in their CAD system, parts of the frames are sooo close to a freya. I'll bet my sceadu is lighter than a Fury 50!!! I think this thing is gonna be a rocket with the OS50 and muscle pipe.
They are both outstanding heli's, the Fury's weight is enticing, but the thing I dislike most about this hobby is fixing these things, and the Freya is a piece of cake in that department. I'm sold on plastic frames because they either break or they don't, they will give a little, and don't need a bunch of brackets to put the frames together...
Bottom line is that we have a lot of great choices out there that will cater to each individual's tastes. Every time a new heli comes out, it just makes the other manufacturers have to start thinking about beating it... The wonders of competition.
So, once again, as long as everyone flies Freyas, the world will be a better place. And I promise there is no bias in my view of these products...
