My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I've just bought Radio Controlled Models & Electronics magazine (October 1968). It's just great, I wish I could find more of them. It's quite amazing how sophisticated radios they got even those days. Of course they were much more expensive than today. Also many of the manufacturers in ads are familiar, like Futaba with it "de luxe single channel r/c". I would upload some pages here if I could. People seldom thinks that even this hobby has a long and fine history. I hope some of those veterans are still in business. Only thing that was missing in the magazine was helicopters - I think they must have had at least couple in those days.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Still a "gleam" in the eye in 68. some "one" off's but they were still trying to make them stable rather than just learn to fly them. The early ones were so stable as to be unflyable

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Yes, the good old days. I have some issues of model magazines from 1961, when I was 6 years old, when I was first building and flying control-line planes. It's fun to look at magazines with ads for engines that cost a whopping $6.95, and kits were dirt cheap also.
