My Posts This: Topic Forum | ok.. while talking with my father-in-law who has been in the r/c hobby for many many years.. he decided to go through some stuff he packed away years ago and show me some pics of what he used to play with. After doing so he has now decided to part with some of his collection just because he doesnt have the time to enjoy the hobby anymore. I offered to list the items he has for sale here in the forum. I can relay any questions to him directly. What I will be posting below is his exact words describing what he has. If anyone is interested in purchasing any or all of this please let me know.. I will talk with him more in the next couple of days.. (just so you know I live on the east coast and my in-laws live on the west coast.. WA state to be exact) Keep in mind that a lot of this stuff is German made from years ago. My father-in-law is retired from the military so he spend a lot of his time overseas specifically in Germany and other parts of Europe.
Below is what he told me...Also he is going to get me pictures so I can post that as well and if anyone has any specific questions or requests for pictures please let me know.

The small one is a Kalt .30 size Fixed Pitch helicopter. (parts were available here in the states to add the necessary parts to convert it fully articulating) Motor is an Enya .28, very nice little motor, all it needs is the motor put on and new clutch pads. No electrics. Needs three servo's. Rotor blade span is 43.5 inches. The receiver is 8 channel/transmitter is 7 channel, Robbee Tera Top/ Futaba made these for Robbee I think, also FM 35 MHz, it has a removable transmitter module on the back of the transmitter. The antenna is also removable and stored on the back of the transmitter case. Manual in English and German.
The big one is a Graupner (German) .61 fully articulating trainer, it has a Bell 222 fuselage (has been painted several times, needs striped and repainted piece) The engine is a .61 HB ringed, original German manufacture helico motor (enlarged fins on the head) , very sweet. Heli is very stable and heavy, also has a gyro. Rotor span is 60.5 inches. This German heli is unique in that it has Graupner servos that have a push-pull action rather than the usual rotating servo arm. It has a 8 channel receiver and 4 channel transmitter, it is set up to run on FM 35 MHz. Transmitter is a Graupner made by Grundig, it is unique in that it has attached to the bottom of the transmitter two chrome arms that swivel inward with a neck strap attached, this allows the user to open up the arms, place the strap around their neck and rest the bottom of the transmitter on their stomach, thus creating a tray effect that is desired by heli flyers. Also the antenna unscrews and has a storage compartment in the transmitter. The antenna, once screwed to the transmitter is not perpendicular to the ground, rather nearly vertical when you use the strap. In Germany this transmitter combo was very desirable for under water RC applications (submarine) as it is very powerful. Manual in Germany only.
Both have new blades, covered, weighted and balanced. Both are pulley start. I have had these for around 12 years and were not new when I bought them.
