Greetings ....

I posted something before but having the same issue.

I have a Nova 91 V2 eng with the three needles. I just put on a Multi gov. I'm having the same problems. When I do a vertical climb then come down quickly I still notice a slight loading/bog on the motor that last only momentarily. I've adjusted the needles back to factory.. returned and nothing.. I've leaned out the low a bit but don't really want to go much more....

Any ideas?

Throttle servo is the Align 610 run by the align 2-n-1.

I also should note that I recently took the carb off and had another look at the O rings. It seemed that I cannot get the carb to seat fully when I put the O ring on the cylinder of the carb so I basically took it off and just keep the O ring on the bottom housing of the motor. It seats nice and flat now.. ....

is it bogging when coming down and not climbing? It shouldnt have any bog coming down. whats your headspeed? what gear ratio? Novarossi REALLY needs to run in it power band . On T 700 w/ 8.2 g.r. thats 2030 HS. That sweet spot on friends. set to factory settings then work on Mid needle 4clicks in was perfect . only when in two click on gigh so far. I would put o ring back in as it puts carb at correct height and is a isolator for heat. hows it hold rpms doing loops and tic tocs?

I'm running a 1950 hs right now but I'll bump it up to 2030 to see what happens.

Rpms are good during tic tocs. It runs great so far without the o ring but I'll put it back in next time I pull the eng

When you unload your motor quickly, it will normally start to overspeed without a governor in place. MultiGov will compensate by dropping the throttle as much as it can dictated by the "LowThrotPcnt" setting.

If your motor doesn't run smooth at lower throttle settings, you can compensate by increasing the "LowThrotPcnt" setting. So, you might want to try increasing that from the default 35 to say 40-50 as a test.

The disadvantage to raising "LowThrotPcnt" too high is that you might experience more overspeeding than with a lower setting.

The advantage for a higher setting is that for hard 3D, you can get better power recovery.

Hi

Bob

Thanks for the reply. I'll try adjusting the low percent setting when I fly it again.

Thanks. Mike

Novarossi recommends not using the top o-ring. I have a newer model and mine has a rubberized coating on the carb instead of o-rings. This motor performs its best at slightly higher rpm than similar sized motors. I run 2050 on my 700.

Husker..

Yeah mine has the rubberized coating as well...

I"m going to bump up the rpm a HS a bit to see if this makes the difference..

Thanks again...
