I agree it will be interesting to see the price point of parts but...it looks like the bar has been raised a bit. Lighter weight, full carbon frames, a nice painted canopy, lots of cool red parts, and the quality will be pure JR. I want one

Looking closely at the Nex photos shows a lot of differences to the V1
and not too many parts can be used on the V1, The tail box, the autounit, frames, battery tray, clutch bearing block and the main and tail drive gears are different.

Does the canopy on the new Vibe 50 NEX have a cooling hole like
most Align helis do underneath the front?
Would the old Vibe 50 benefit from a cooling hole in the canopy
up front like Align helis have?

Interesting use of frame braces on the NEX also.

I preordered mine recently. I'm hoping Horizon gets close to their target date, though they have a full parts listing now, so it looks like it's getting closer and closer to release.

Well I did some comparisons and it looks like the head block is different between the original 50 and the NEX. I'm curious if JR will be offering a FBL head for the NEX as well. It would be a shame if they didn't offer it sometime in the month or two following the release.

I'm still hoping there will be an electric version of the 50 NEX following very soon.

I do not like it...
There is no place to mount a fbl.unit unless you use onr with a separate sensor...
