My Posts This: Topic  Forum		After about 25 flights, yesterday I noticed a noise that sounded like my old Ergo did when the belt tension was too loose. It happened when I would do fast piros. so I landed. Sure enough I checked the belt and it seemed a little looser than I liked.

My question is: You guys that have had Freyas from new, is this just normal initial strech of a new belt or did my boom slip? I guess I will find out if my boom is slipping because I tightened the belt back up and am going flying over my lunch break.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		there is a bit of natural stretch early on and also, being in Iowa, I'd
expect that it's kinda cold out which causes the boom to shrink
and make the belt loosen.

Adjust to proper tension and fly and dont worry about it unless you
see white dust or the belt slapping sound.

You are right about the weather in Iowa. It is 20 degrees one day and 70 the next, followed by 30....and so on. This time of the year and in the fall the weather really fluctuates around here. It was significantly colder when the belt was noisey as opposed the the previous flight when it was warm and the belt was quiet.
