when will this happen?

the align electric forum is a nightmare if you are only wanting to read about one size.

that other site has them broken out by size class which is really nice.

I am working feverishly on a complete RR system core rewrite. This endeavor is insane but needs to be done to allow faster future enhancement roll-outs. The initial phase will be complete before year end. It will include the new Virtual Sub forums feature.

What I think would be useful for me anyway is when I am subscribed to a topic you get the message in place of the START HERE which reads NEW SUB , which is useful. Click on the NEW SUB link then it takes me to my list of SUBS that have had posts added to them. I click on one of the sub links and sometimes have to scroll through a few pages to find where the last post I have read is at. I think a check box somewhere, be it at the end of each page or on each post that can be checked after reading. Then when I click on the NEW SUB link it will take me to the list of subs that have had posts recently added, then when I click on one of the topics it will take me right to the first post that I have not read yet.

I hope this makes sense, wonder if anyone else thinks this would be convienient?

Open the left or right status panel to navigate (work) your new subs. Click the top right or left arrow to open RR's exclusive status panel.

I have the status panel opened but that only tells me which sub has posts added to them. If I dont go on RR for a few days there may be 10 posts added to a topic and if the topic is a few pages long already it can take a bit to find where I left off reading. With high speed internet it is not that bad but with dial-up or a slower connection it would be much easier if it jumped right to the last post that I had marked read.

Unless there is something that I am not using on the status panel!

It is hard to subscribe to a 600 forum and have to visually parse out the dozens of threads on the 450.

It's easy to find an excuse to do wrong. Hard is not to find an excuse to do right.

By clicking "mark subs read" it clears the list, I get that. When you reply to this post, this sub will show up in the column again. This tells me that this topic has had a post added, but when I click on the sub it takes me to the first page of the topic not the last post that I have read.

I think I figured out what is going on. What Ive always done for whatever reason was to click on the NEW SUB button, then I would open the topic from there and it would take me to the first page of the topic.

If I open the topic right from the status bar it does take me to the newest post of the topic.
