Avant Aurora - EFX - FX > Metal Tail Blade Grips

I just had the ball on one of the plastic tail blade grips sheared/break the plastic output arm. I was able to bring the heli in safe minus one landing skid so no big issues.

Needless to say I'm now look for a metal replacement/mod for the blade grips. I know there are some Avant metal blade grips that should be following the release of the E-Aurora. But I'd rather sort something out now.

Anyone have any ideas?

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		How can the G-force grips be a "hack"? I have seen Garf's work with the neckstrap balancer, and I think he does good work. Obviously it would be better to get a genuine Avant metal t/r grip, but until they are available from the factory, we should be grateful that 3rd parties are willing to fill the void.

This is what I did with mine I did not like the plastic grips these are G-Force grip that were made for the Vibe50 I did have to do some extensive modding

Garf has halted this due to the rumored release of E-Aurora/Metal Tail grips.

Whilst I love my Aurora, I for one would not hold my breathe for Avant to come up with a solution that could be in the order of years.

If we could get an indication of the number of people interested maybe we could convince Garf it's worth while?

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I have just received an email from Garf at G-force regarding doing a run of Aurora specific quality metal "G-Force" tail grips, here's the deal:

If there is enough interest then Garf will do a run of metal tail grips for the Aurora - simple.

If this is to happen then we need a show of hands of people who are seriously interested in the upgrade. I for one would definitely purchase a set and I know at least one other guy at my field who would be interested.

For all those interested please email Garf at G-Force: gforceheli@yahoo.com indicating your interest.

Also can you indicate on this thread that you have emailed Garf.
