was out flying yesterday have had my hawk sport os 32 for awile but have never really got it dialed in so over the past week had spent many hours with setup used dial calipers and measured and set pitch and throttle curves in normal flight mode havent been confortable enough for idle up yet well long story short i think near the end of the 5TH tank i got air bubbles in the fuel and engine just shut off had to do my first unpracticed auto and it tore her up pretty good landing skids,rear lower frame ,flybar ,head spindle,tail boom and shafts,main blades,tail boom supports,collenctive servo . now what do i do i can and have been flying 450 size helis but had been blocked difficult to see for orenitaion and darty when i got the 30 size nitro heli it has allowed me to work into forward flight and made my 450 flying better as well .i need to get a 30 back up and flying and soon ??? any ideas or suggestions

well after carefully looking over and thinking about gear on board of the crashed hawk sport i was able to secure a nip hawk pro with a nib os37 ringed.I have the engine installed and the upper and lower main frames assembled some of the servos installed ds821 spectrum and a s9254 for rudder.I ordered a new fuel magnet and tuff struts the stock gear just turned me off so it get new ones.i also ordered a set of carbon mains and tail blades will continue with setting up and assembling thru the week and weather permitting do some initial break in runs the weekend .

Hey motorhead450. Post up some pics! I myself have a seven year old hawk sport with OS32. It has been that long since i last flew and im now starting to dial everything in tomorrow morning. My problem is i cant remember much. I did turn the engine over and it has good compression. Anyways keep us updated.
