This is and will become one of the best thought out Heli's, will have to try one out.

You prob thought of this as well but how about extending the frames at the rear and doing away with the nasty Align plastic boom holder and replace with blocks similar to your 3rd bearing holder. 2 of those and a 3rd for holding the bearing and drive should do it and 2 smaller blocks for the vertical gears. That should save a lot of weight.

Yes was thinking of the bearing block system..Ive had a V-max 90 before and really enjoyed the open tail drive system..I like the clean open look so its bound to happen sooner rather than later..Also I need to start phasing out all the Donor Parts and encorporate my own...Im busy retrofiting my mini mill machine that has a rotary axis as well so things should get very interesting from there..
just need another 24 hours each day and 6 more hands would be very nice!
Hope to have my own Complete Heli in the near future!

hey, looks good, glad to see the catch one of it, nothing like the slid in battery tray, David ( Xera man! ) and I has this one for about 9 months now, HC still has the first version of mine, hope to get it back soon, the last 2 pictures on the bottom is mine, and now David has the second Version flying which is the top 3 pictures, The second Version when you slid it in, it plugs in the batteries,
Sure is fun!
