| Mystic_2003 Heliman | The Pyro WILL fit,
The Scorpion 1000 and EFlite Power 25 both have good power, a lot of feedback already on that. No need to have both, too similar.Neu 1706H/2Y sounds like it is WEAK...

| Mystic_2003 Heliman | I put the EFlite Power 25 Back in, MUCH better power. Get's my 20C packs warm around 138 F, but they are Flightmax at $40.00 each so no big deal. | ||

| Benth Senior Heliman | Yeah I ran the scorpion yesterday way better than the Neu. It's too bad I really had high hopes for that motor. Of course now that I know the pyro will fit I'm sorta wanting one of those now. Have you tried it? I always want more power. I'm sorta thinkng of putting the Neu in my rock crawler. I'm sure it had enough power to break things on that and I think it will fit. | ||

| Mystic_2003 Heliman | Yea the Pyrp 600-11 at 1050Kv would be sick, might be too much Kv with 12T which is as small as I could find .8M 5mm. They are no where to be had in the states, out of stock. Pyro 600-09 at 930 Kv might just be perfect.$300,00 Motor. If you ordered it in Germany almost $400 by the timeyou ship, ect. A little too much for me, unless I knew it had rocking power.Of course RotoDingo will say all wrong, get the Kora 15-14 at 150g instead of Pyro at 220g. I have not seen anyone say the Kora has sick power and I kmow a few here have them as they bought the last stock Readyheli had. | ||

| Benth Senior Heliman | While I am happy with the scorpion 3026 what I was thinking was open up the frames a little more and squeeze in one of the scorpion 4020's or 4025's. Those have crazy powet in a 550 so I'm sure it would be sick in the Vibe. One problem is KV there's a 910 and a 1100. I think the 910 with a 15 or 16T pinion to move it more to the center of the opening and make up for the lower kv. I think they are like 38mm around and there outrunners. Could be fun though... I'm gonna check out the pyro too but it does sound pricey. | ||

| Mystic_2003 Heliman | Now that's what I call sick. Really need like an 11T Pinion on this one. Pretty heavy though.Scorpion 4020-1100Weight ...................................... 284 Grams (10.01 oz) Outside Diameter .......................... 48.9 mm (1.925 in) Shaft Diameter ............................. 4.98 mm (0.196 in) | ||

| Benth Senior Heliman | Oh it's 48mm damn that's big Its the 3026 that's 38mm. Well who knows if I get bored with the power I got now who knows maybe I'll try it. The 4020 costs less than the Neu did. Are you saying you can't find a 15 or 16 tooth pinion that would work with the 500? Because I think doing the 910 with a 15/16 would be centered in the cutout better. I had to file the holes backwards just to get the Neu to fit with the 12t. | ||

| Mystic_2003 Heliman | Sorry I did not explain. 11T is proper gearing for + ~1000 Kv for governor mode. Yes easy to find 15T or 16T Mod .8 Gear, hard to find 11T .8M Gear.I usually try and select gear ratio to get the headspeed I want. Would rather dremel the frames than compromise on proper gear ratio. | ||

| Mystic_2003 Heliman | Scorpion 3026 880Kx uses a 12T pinion on a Jive Governed.
However this means nothing if you are running a Castle as Throttle % is going to be different.

| Benth Senior Heliman | I ordered the real JR flybarless head for mine yesterday. Is that what you got? Which fbl system you gonna run? I got 2 mikados already so I'll probly stick with them. If you did get the JR head what pieces do you get? It almost looks like IRS just grips and a washout base. Definetly let us know how it is. Sounds like it should be pretty balistic. Mines actually getting stronger with every charge it seems. The thunder power 45c's get better as you use them somehow. | ||

| michelin Senior Heliman | yep it is the JR FBL conversion, based on new grips and a washout base.actually i am using the Helicommand Rigid and the Heli is not really heavier as with the original setup and the TP 30C are 50g lighter as the 45C'sNever touch a running system | ||

| AMorgan Heliman | I don't think the JR kit comes with grips (I ordered one as well). I think it's new links, the FBL version of a washout base (can't remember what they call that) some grip extenders, they're little aluminum pieces that screw into the grip to extend the arm length, maybe some extended balls. That's all I was really seeing. I know at least one person on here has already gotten theres. I'm planning to run mine on a Mikado setup unless the Total G is released reasonably soon and gets some thumbs up reviews. | ||

| Benth Senior Heliman | Wow for $130 I was hoping for new grips with longer arms. I know extenders work the same but Id prefer a whole new grip. As far as the total G yeah that things gonna be sweet I bet. I got 2 mini V bars and one align 3G but I think I want to try a total g. | ||

| AMorgan Heliman | Benth, Horizon has them listed for $94 (though they don't have an arrival date). I work at a shop, so I get a discount on top of that, so it should be fairly reasonable for me. I agree it does seem a bit disappointing for 130, but realistically you can get a 50 size frame for what you pay for the 500E, so I guess it's laws of economics at work. I was really hoping JR would release something based on the 7703D platform for control honestly, but I haven't even heard a whisper about one. Either way I'm looking forward to not measuring flybar lengths and paddle weighting anymore. I am doing it because I want a simple bird probably even more than I want a fast one. | ||

| michelin Senior Heliman | you are right - it was a typo from my side, the FBL conversion comes only with the new link and a washout base: When you have the older grips like me you have to drill a lager hole to fit the new linkNever touch a running system | ||

| Benth Senior Heliman | Mystic get the 1000kv scorpion its VERY powerful. Mine screams now and there so cheap you could buy 4 of the for what thay pyro costs. | ||

| Mystic_2003 Heliman | I put the EFlite Power 25 back in my Vibe. If you have a Scorpion 1000Kv that is going to be pretty much just like the EFlite anyway. Now I have an extra Scorpion 3026 880Kv.I agree the Scorpion 1000Kv is a MUCH cheaper date than the Pyro 600 09 at $300... Hmm... | ||
