Concept is this: Heli-Clinic. Got a question or want more details on "Why & how do you do that?". We are here to help. Have a heli that's just keeping you down and want someone to give you a hand at checking the setup? We are here to help.
At Site 3 we have designated hover-only areas for those not quite ready for the "prime-time 200x 200 boxes" that Site 4 offers. http://www.ircha.org/index.php?pr=2010_Jamboree
We also have tents, tables & chairs available to sit down and help setup birds with our fellow Heli-Brotheren.
What I'm asking for: We need volunteers that are willing to help a stranger setup what ever bird they bring, to the best of our abilities, and help them along in the hobby.
We did this in 2009 for Thursday & Friday and had some nice success. This year we are looking to step it up but we need more man-power to take it to the next level.
The vision is to have 3-4 "instructors" on hand between 10AM & 4PM to help students. Maybe split it into 3-hour shifts - unless you up for the entire 6 hours (you'll be beat -but it's fun, rewarding work).
I'd like to use the second tent to set a schedule for seminars: (for example) X-o-clock the topic is: Blade and Paddle Selection Tools needed to Build Flight Modes/Conditions Pitch & Throttle Curves Gyro Setup Swash Setup And the list goes ON!
IRCHA 2010 is approaching and there are helis & pilots that want some help, if you have a desire to help and enjoy that grin on someones' face when they get a taste of success, give me a PM.
thanks for your time, Gus
