Hey guys,

i always wanted to test the maximum operating height of my quadcopter.
Some days ago a customer wanted aerial panos in the mountains of the Switzerland at 12.790 feet. The lesser lift of the engines was noticeable but not too much.

Here is one of the results: http://www.innovativesights.com/gal...m_big_forum.swf

Details(german) and making of photos can be seen here on my blog: http://www.blog.innovativesights.com/
I´m curious about your feedback, did anyone flew with a quadcopter and 2 pounds payload on a bigger height?

Regards,
Joseph

No way any American could haul a bag of LiPos up that mountain. Switzerlandahans must have a super physical education program.

Ha - when reading this post I thought that the person had sent the quadcopter up 12.790 feet!!!! That would have been quite a feat indeed, but sadly it wasn't so.

Great pano BTW ... nice scenery too...

Nice work! It looks like you have one person flying and another operating the camera?

Sorry KarbonBird, but only Draganflyers can go that high or twice as high actually (and then get lost...)

@Mangtronix

Yes i had two workers with me for carrying the stuff and operating the camera....that is easier when flying at this height.
