If anybody knows off hand if any 550-600 parts will fit the 700 let me know. Like the canopy. They are cheaper and more available.

Jason, the only parts from 550 600 to fit is the landing gear.

You did the right thing by ditching it after it got over your head. I need to get back on the sim for sure. I haven't been on it like two weeks. Our computer died a few weeks ago and I havent loaded Phoenix on to the new one. That will change today.

Hey John Feilds where are you?????? Is it that time of year again where you go into hiding until like September. You have missed a ton. This past Wednesday night we had Brats on the grill. Of course Sonny was flying over the pits again, Steve ran his car battery dead charging batteries. I tried to cut my finger off with my 700 and a new guy tried to make a new 700 electric part of mother earth. All and all another good night at the feild. LOL.

Chris, when you said I flew over the Pits again you didn't underline it!!(I had a pit pass) It was more over the picnic area anyway, but still, yep, I screwed up again! Brought it back onto the field and landed safely! Yep another All Star Wednesday at WMRAF! Jeff managed to trim the top of the corn without incident also! Dog Dan was there, but no Heli's, his daughter didn't bring his truck back when she was supposed to have, but it was good to see him anyway. We had a few spectators as well at the field, next time Lloyd bring your heli's!!

OK Jay I tried out the DFC head on the 450 and I am not to impressed, it doesnt quite fly right it wanders and is not locked in and on the 3rd flight that link came out while inverted ! I guess I will have to get the right one for it there is a lot of pull on that link I guess, I hit throttle hold pretty quick so there is no damage other than the link. I am not real sure about running the DFC head on the 450, I felt better with the regular FBL head on there.

Well, finally working nights is starting to work out. I've got 4 flights in so far and a couple packs are on the charger. I have flown a few times this week before heading to work. I never did that when I was on afternoons.

Hey Chris what's the story? Are you holding back because it might be a why you should fly electric story? LOL

Sonny, what is the story with RF can you use your own Tx with it, and does it do ALL of the controlling? I got Phoenix because I was under the impression you had to use the chezzy RF Tx with their software.

He would be in real bad shape if it were electric

Jay, there's nothing to set up in the radio, you do all the modding of the software through the program. The controller is alright and you don't wear out the gimbals on your own transmitter, plus the RF controller has the all important reset button!!!
Yeah Brian Chris would have been in real trouble with an electric, if it hadn't pinched his finger the worse that would have happened is a burnt clutch unless he figured out the problem sooner, he did get it figured out pretty darned fast and flicked the throttle hold fast enough, but not before he pinched the finger but good!

Thanks for asking about me Chris, i have been working 2 full time jobs to help pay for all of the damage that i have in helis, and to afford a new engine for the 90. I hope to be back out soon, I plan on taking a vacation soon, take a couple of days to put everything together, and a week or so of flying.

You can use any controller with Real Flight. It just patches through the RF controller which is the copy protection. All the mixing and programing for the TX is done in the software but there is not really anything you need to do.

HOLY CRAP, there is this weird wet stuff falling out the sky at my house. Is this what they call rain? It's been a while since I've seen it so I wasnt sure.

On a serious note, who is flying tomorrow?

Jay,

I'm sure they all use RF because it is a Futaba controller that comes with it ;-).
