Is there anything you can put into model fuel (ie. Coll Power 30%) to help with moisture. I guess something equivelent to Dry Gas.

Thanks

"Dry gas" is just alcohol, that's the problem It has an afinity for water. It's easier to remove the alcohol from the water. Keep your "Powder" dry.

I think "Dry Gas" is actually Naptha mostly. I'm not 100% sure though but that is what I've heard. How are you getting moisture in the fuel? I keep the lids on tight and never had any problems with moisture in it.

You can use canned Argon. It's available from Powermaster
or any good wine shop. It's sprayed into the vessel (fuel or wine )
and it works either by displacing air or being heavy, forms a barrier
on the surface of the liquid preventing water vapor/air from getting in.

I don't think I have lost any fuel since using a Slimline fuel cap. It is an aluminum cap with an O-ring that sits on the fuel jug. For some extra cash, they can put a logo or your name on it. It has two fittings for connecting to your fuel pump. I think it costs about $15 but I can see how it could pay for its self.

WATER?

I don't know how your getting water in your fuel but,
do not let it sit directly on the the ground, especially concrete.
It'll draw moisture right the plastic jug.

I do believe that is an old wives tale, although you should never leave metal cans on concrete since moisture will condense under the can and cause corrosion issues. Plastic however is fine.

......." to help with moisture in fuel"., Do you want more moisture ??? If so, add water. Is that why it`s called Cool Power ??
My understanding is that Methanol is hygroscopic ie. attracts and absorbs moisture from air. So I suppose anythime it gets to be with air, like when you open the bottle, it will attract the moisture from it. Also possible it could absorb moisture through certain types of plastic container. I know the type of plastic used on dirt-bike fuel tanks "breathes" and the tank decals fall off if not stuck onto a special backing.
