Didnt have GV1 before, failsafe kicks the TJ out of action no problems as it lowers the throttle outside the TJ governing range....

i can use mixes to activate the governor and have a switch, but its a lot of messing about when I can do it with the code 44 gyro channel....

after all, in idle up 1 or 2 why would I not want the governor on?

I found this set up from Andy Carpenter web site . I like this set up and I have changed it a little bit to fit my flying.

I have just got the part's needed to get my Raptor 50 V2 back into the air . But I am still not sure about the GV1 I can not get the IDEL to set up it tells you to put the throttle in the idel then push the button it should stop flashing then go to full throttle push the button the go to stop push the button and it should stop flashing. Well mine does not stop flashing other than that it seems to be OK I do not know should I just go out and try it or not the servo test seems to work ok. I have it set up on a JR 3810 ADT but I have just got a Futaba ZHP has any one got a set up for that radio. As it seems it takes longer to set up the radio than going out to fly the heli.
