Hi all,

I really just want to vent my frustrations

I have had a GY401 on order with my LHS since the middle of January, and still it has not arrived

What's worse is that Ripmax don't have any in stock either and don't know when they will get another shipment from Japan

What is the deal with these things

Regards,

Peter.

greetings peter,
got the same problem - waiting for os 50
seems like uk distribution networks are a bit like our rail system (a joke)
midland heli seem to have the best availibility of most heli stuff but even they are at the mercy of our 3rd rate status in the list of who gets what and when and as for the lhs, if its anything like mine (antics) its really not worth bothering with. -----moan moan moan, etc, ad infinitum
aaaaaaaar thats better

I might be able to help there

Hi Clueless,

Yes I know what you mean, it is really really frustrating, I have in fact now bought a cheap ICG180 to temporarily put on my Sceadu 50

I might be able to help with your OS 50 though, give this guy a call, he may have one;

Mr Ian Harper
Fred Coulson Models
515 Wells Road
Hengrove
Bristol

Tel: 0117 971 6522

He does mail order and accepts all major credit / debit cards.

Last I looked I think he had one there, you might be lucky.

Hope this helps

Cheers,

Peter.

You should wait no longer.

Get it from Cyberheli for $199. Thats £142! and it includes a digital S9253 servo. Shipping is about £15. Why get ripped off in the UK by paying £134 just for the gyro?

You will find that it will take less than a week to get to you.

The Futaba GY401 is like gold dust in the UK. I would not waste any more time. Ripmax are not very good with Futaba products.

Your Sceadu deserves something better than a CSM180.
