Who makes the longer shaft to run the linkage to the bottom of the carb,or is there just the control arm for it.I've seen some pictures of guys running their throttle from the bottom on their Benzins but can't remember who.
This is for a Benzin CCPM purple frame set.
Thanks

I run the throttle on the bottom with the stock 603 that came on the motor. The throttle arm came in the kit from Vario. It will fit between the lower frame plate and carb body with the ball up. I do not understand how you got the arm on top. If you swapped the carb from top to bottom to get the linkage on top the pulse port is not drilled thru on the carb adapter. I hope this helps.

PS. I have the Airstar side frames

Your going to have to replace the whole shaft if it has been cut to short...
Has it been cut? or you just need a arm...You can make those out of 30ths sheetmetal, and silver solder it to a wheel collor..

throttle

I use the throttle arm for an XCell gas, it fits just below the airstar bottom plate.

No the shaft has not been cut.I simply drilled the little hole in the bottom of the short bit just past the e-clip and thread it.My problem is getting something long enough to clear the frame enogh to accept a ball.
I may try the wheel collar and silver solder method. Can you silver solder 2 wheel collars together too get the length.I just don't trust it will stay together. Will experiment a bit. Thanks for the idea's.Can some one send me a picture of your throttle linkage from the

Billme suggested using an aluminium JR throttle arm from an Ergo Z230, part #JRP970123. The ball end of the arm needs to be filed down to 1/16" then it will fit between the frame plate and the bottom of the carb. I did this and it works great!

I have said this before: that if you do not make your geometry correct on the throttle, your heli engine will never run right, same on glows, but its twice as critical on a gasser...When you put the throttle on the top butterfly indicator, you better know what your doing....Its almost impossible to get it correct...This is why I highly suggest mounting the arm on the bottom so as to get the correct angles throws, with the butterfly in the right position..
Many Regards,
