Except, that's the crux of the loony left's argument, profits are making insurance companies turn down claims, and not cover preexisting conditions in the name of profits. What they fail to realize is that those issues are not the "problems" but instead are the symptoms of an abused health insurance system. When every little thing that used to be out of pocket gets billed to an insurance company, yes, of course prices are going to go up, and being that there is a finite amount of resources, some of those patients, and conditions are going to be denied. The PEOPLE are the problem, and HOW they use insurance, and none of the bills so far addresses that.
