Okay, I was recommended to buy a Blade Msr to fly indoor thruout the winter.
Here is my story, I am in the hovering phase of my flying.
I am far from a beginner in the hiobby, just things seem to pull mr away from the hobby every year, mostly health, as a diabetic first my kidneys failed and I am on the kidney transplant list, I started on dialysis as a must due to congestive heart failure, while in on my last bout of it I was found that I needed a double bypass, well I am out of the hospital from that and feelin pretty darn good and ready to continue my flying, but now I am headed into winter and need a decent flying indoor ship?
I have a coaxial Lama and mastered flying it and need to move up and was told a MsR is my next step? Does everyone agree?

Sounds like a logical step to me.Looks like it would be a fun indoor heli.

WoW ! Roger, I had no idea ! I've had 4 kidney stone attacks causing much damage to one of my kidney's but anywho, you are a real survivor. I don't have an MSR but my friend Ken does and has ALOT of FUN with it, especially indoors, go for it man, you will have fun if you love Heli's and want a little more of a challenge than the co-ax's, Have Fun BRO !

msr

i just bought an MSR and what a blast that ittle heli is.

that thing is so stable i just let it hover uncontrolled in the front room while i watch tv just to see how long i can go without having to pick up the controller, ha ha.

it is also great because it does fly simular to a real heli with a few exceptions but for flying in circles around the front room you cant beat it.

it has heading hold etc.

coaxial helis are almost counter productive because the un train you.

the msr is simular enough to a real heli that it controlls very simular.
i bought it wednesday and its now friday and i have 3 hours flying time on that thing, i cant put it away

i got the bind and fly and use my dx6i

I just bought a msr about a week ago. These little birds are absolutely incredible. Much more fun than the MCX IMHO.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

They really are. Tons of fun for sure but the technology behind it is amazing. Lord knows what they'll come up with next.

Just purchased my MSR this afternoon, charged up all four batteries. It is cool, but MAN I swear this thing is harder to control than my 'Rex 600N. Anyone have any tips/tricks to keep it a little better off?

One thing I tried doing was plugging in the battery before sliding it into the holder on the bird, it allows me to bump it less before the gyro initializes.

I feel like a newb all over again, over a dang FP micro heli.

Regards, Brandon

Harder than a 600? I had to add -40 expo on cyclic and -80 on rudder to make it interesting. I'm used to a 450.

Wot's Uh The Deal?
