I have a new raptor 50 se, I was wondering if fuel magnents are worth it and since I have a header tank should I put one in it also?

I wouldnt use both, one or the other. I like fuel magnets better. They are more consistent, you save 3oz over a header tank setup and the heli looks cleaner. If you are going to run the magnet with muffler pressure then you will need to refill right after you fly to push the exhaust gases out of the tank. (the gases will deteriorate the foam in no time)

I just store the heli with a full tank and both the carb and vent/pressure line pinched off to keep moisture out. I have a fuel magnet that has well over 400 flights on it now. No problems at all if you follow these habits. If you cant keep true to the refilling right after you fly habit then I would stay away from the magnets cuz you will have troubles.....
