Hackers broke into the servers at a prominent British climate research center and leaked years worth of e-mail messages onto the Web, including one with a mysterious reference to a plan to "hide the decline" in data about temperatures......
ZZ3Astro - that link you gave doesn't work over here, any chance of cutting/pasting some info. this is the first i have heard of this, and i truely reckon that the link marked as 'fatal error..blah blah etc' is to keep certain information from us. thanks
The hacker makes it sound like only a portion have been released. Maybe even more will come out slowly like the ACORN scandal. There are also documents detailing some of the funding that really make climate alarmism sound like a nice gig if you can get it. They have argued that the skeptic's arguments be dismissed for far less. For example, one skeptical scientist once received $10,000 for expenses and expert witness fees from an oil company over 20 years ago and that was the excuse to dismiss everything he says today. Yet these alarmists are actively dealing with millions in funding from sources with great financial interest in promoting AGW. The poorly kept secret of how they manipulate the peer review process is also spelled out. I had thought that these guys would lose all credibility soon enough but I had also thought they would escape any real accountability. Now I'm not so sure they will escape.
