Does anyone know when these tanks will be released? My Trex 700 build is nearing an end and I will need a fueling solution in short order. I have considered Slimline stuff and Jersey Modeler, but I saw a pic of the E-Tanker in RC heli mag and I think that's the way I'm going. Thanks.

I became impatient and called them up. Some of the E-Tankers got sent to certain distributors. But, they have them in stock and ready to go. So, if you call up your local Byron Fuel Distributor, they can order it for you. Or you can order it direct, but at full cost. Hope this helps someone out. They said that they would update their website soon.

I believe retail is between $220 and $230. That includes everything though: 2.5 gallon tank, battery, wall charger, pump, plumbing, and filters.

Shouldn't the decision be left to the person wanting it?

The hobby is doing better now then ever before.

Should they stop making $100K sports cars just because the speed limit is 65mph?

I spend $6 making mine! (For the one gal fuel jug); I have to agree that the price is crazy for a plastic container, fuel line, bungy cord and a fuel pump. Its a real simple and cheap project!

I dont suffer from mental iIlness, I actually enjoy mine!

$220.00 retail...No thanks...Don't get me wrong I'd like to own a 2.5 gallon container as well just for the convenience of not having to crack open a new gallon after every six flights but I'll find a container online for $20.00 and make my own.

Guys,

Here's the 2.5 gallon jug I bought from US Plastics. It works great and cost $6.60 plus shipping. It is part number 75029.

I can't tell any difference between it and the one used by Jersey. Of course you'll have to add your own fittings and fuel pump.

Take a look and "do it yourself".
